If you’re recently diagnosed with pre- or Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, or entering a new stage in your bariatric surgery journey, I can help you navigate the needed transitions in your eating pattern.

The first steps are the pre-alignment call questionnaire and the call itself — they ensure there is alignment between your goals and my expertise.
At the end of after the alignment call, we’ll both decide if we’re a good fit and go from there.
I’ll make a referral to another clinician if their service and expertise are better suited for your current needs.
If I’ll have the pleasure of working with you, you’ll be emailed several forms for gathering your health history and consent. Scheduling for the first session will take place after forms are completed. -
No two sessions are alike as they vary base on your needs and progression. Typically, we’ll review your successes and challenges which will inform the realistic strategies that are best aligned with your lifestyle.

Because health doesn’t exist in isolation, we’ll also touch on other health-promoting behaviors such as joyful movement, stress management, sleep hygiene, and more.
Between sessions, you’ll practice and implement the strategies you committed to — whether that’s completing a mood journal, habit tracker, or other activities.
Time is a non-renewable resource so each session will start promptly at the scheduled time. As King Henry VIII said, "Of all losses, time is the most irrecuperable for it can never be redeemed." ⏱

This depends on many factors but you’re in the driver seat of this decision.
Usually more frequent sessions are needed at the beginning when more active work and support are beneficial.
Once habits are formed and you’ve had more practice with the strategies you’ve committed to, sessions can be less frequent and perhaps only needed when you need a “refresher” or “check-in.”

Sessions are online and conducted through a secure telehealth program.
Sessions are done from the comfort and convenience of the location of your choice. As long as you have internet connection, we can meet!

For self-paying clients, you can request a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Communal Table Wellness is working on getting in-network with some insurances — hopefully services are accessible to more people soon!

Credit or debit cards are accepted through the secure online platform powered by Stripe.
You may be able to use your HSA (Health Savings Account), FSA (Flexible Spending Account), or HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) to pay for nutrition services. However, please check with your HSA, FSA, or HRA administrator to confirm coverage for nutrition services.
